Given the Coronavirus/COVID-19 pandemic around the world, around the United States, and around our state, we are all being called upon to make sacrifices for the safety of all. Effectively immediately, DECO will move to a telemedicine model in order to continue to provide care for our patients. In order to protect the health and safety of patients and staff, PLEASE CALL OUR OFFICE BEFORE COMING TO YOUR APPOINTMENT AS WE ARE CONVERTING ALL CURRENT APPOINTMENTS TO TELEVISITS (SECURE VIDEO CHAT THROUGH THE PATIENT PORTAL) FOR THE FORSEEABLE FUTURE.

Requirements for a Televisit

  • A smart phone capable of downloading the Healow App from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store OR a desktop/laptop computer
  • Login credentials to the Patient Portal
  • Must have successfully logged into the Patient Portal via web or URL link below:

Steps to Log into the Healow App and Start your TeleVisit!

  • Download the healow app on your phone
  • Search for our practice by entering the practice code: FFJAAA
  • Log into the healow app with your patient portal username and password
  • Go to the Appointment tab on the Healow app
  • In the My Appointments section, click on the Televisit Icon under the appointment time
  • Click on the Start TeleVisit button on the bottom of the screen
  • Enter in your vitals information, click on submit vitals to move on to the next step. If you do not have any vitals to enter, please just select 'Submit Vitals' to move onto the next screen. It is okay to submit a blank vitals form.
  • You will get a 'Vitals filled successfully' message!
  • Once vitals have been submitted, click on Start TeleVisit
  • When you click Start TeleVisit, your provider will be notified that you are ready and in their vitual waiting room. Your provider will start the TeleVisit from their end and you will be connected!
  • Please be patient when waiting for your provider to start the visit, as they may be running a few minutes behind.

on the day of your appointment

  • Set aside a secure and private location for your appointment
  • "Arrive early" – Give yourself time to log into the healow app and move through the steps to begin a TeleVisit.

Please utilize the patient portal as we will have limited staff availability to answer the phones in the office. We may be limiting the business phone hours, so please use the portal to send in requests, submit for refill needs, and ask any questions you may have.
