Pallavy
(Polly) Reddy,
MD, FACE,
attended medical School at the
University of Miami in Miami,
Florida and completed her Internal
Medicine residency and Endocrinology
fellowship at the prestigious
Henry Ford Hospital (HFH) in
Detroit, Michigan. There, she was
offered the honored position of
Chief Resident and also served as
Chief Fellow. Often hailed as
the birthplace of the modern
understanding of Bone and Mineral
disorders, HFH is home to numerous
experts in the field of Bone and
Mineral Metabolism.
Dr. Reddy did specialized
training and research in the field
of Osteoporosis. She
presented her research at the annual
American Society of Bone and Mineral
Research (ASBMR) convention in 2002.
She is also an AACE Certified
Clinical Densitometrist. In
addition, she was personally trained
by renowned diabetologist Fred
Whitehouse MD, former President of
the American Diabetes Association,
and a primary investigator in the
DCCT trial--the study which was the
first to educate the world on the
importance of tight blood glucose
control in the prevention of
diabetes-related complications.
