| Dr. Jennifer Rittenberry |
| Jennifer Rittenberry, MD attended medical school at the University of Texas and completed her Internal Medicine residency and Endocrinology fellowship at the internationally-acclaimed Ohio State University Medical Center (OSU). OSU is widely known for its thyroid cancer research, and actually created a thyroid cancer staging system, which is used worldwide. Dr. Rittenberry was trained under Dr. Richard Kloos, a well-known "guru" of thyroid cancer in the U.S. and Secretary of the American Thyroid Association (ATA). Dr. Rittenberry also did numerous research projects in the field of thyroid cancer, and presented her research at the ATA's annual meeting in 2006. She also researched diabetes with Dr. Kwame Osei, an international diabetes expert and Chairman of the Global Diabetes Summit, which was held in 2007. After her fellowship, Dr. Rittenberry completed additional rigorous training in nuclear medicine physics and radiopharmaceuticals and is one of a select few Authorized Prescribers of radioactive iodine in the U.S. This is used to treat both thyroid cancer and hyperthyroidism.
